UV RESISTANT OVERCOAT EXTERNAL COATING
FutureReady Technology Superior manufactures the dual layer fusion bonded epoxy coating on steel pipes for above ground applications in diameter range from 25 mm to 3000 mm. These coatings also help in enhancing properties for operation at elevated temperature, mechanical damage protection, compression, wear, abrasion, and cavitation resistance This coating grants very good corrosion resistance, resistance to cathodic disbondment and resistance to UV degradation.
Dual Layer fusion bonded epoxy coatings are thermoset hardening layers of epoxy resin which is utilise on steel pipes by using an electrostatic process, which protects them against corrosion.
Dual layer FBE coated pipe consists of two coating layers they are as follows:
Layer 1: Layer1 is known as corrosion protective layer. This layer is made of fusion bonded epoxy which offers excellent corrosion protection. The fusion bonded epoxy suits excellent with the blasted steel surface.
Layer 2: Layer2 is made of a coat of fusion bonded polyester. This layer consume the UV radiation that causes degradation and erosion of the FBE coating.
Dual Layer fusion bonded epoxy coated pipes are manufactured according the following standards:

Long term corrosion & weathering protection:
The Base coat of Fusion bonded epoxy has very good adhesion to steel and it provide corrosion protection to steel pipelines operating over a wide range of temperatures for a long period of time.
It Provide very good resistance to cathodic disbondment.
The Top coat of Fusion bonded polyester avails U V protection & protection from harmful weather conditions for the long term.
The Coating has been formulated for excellent chemical resistance under various installation conditions.
They have the ability to be stored & used in all climatic conditions.
They also have the resistance to UV radiation & rain.
High Bond Strength:
The FBE coating is bonded firmly to the moderate steel pipe surface
Long Working Life:
Pipe has the characteristics of continuous performing through out the life span. The Service life of them is more than 75 years.
Customized Solutions:
The Dual Layer FBE coating can be utilize from diameters upto the range of 25 mm to 3000 mm with lengths of up to 12m.
The Bends (Elbows), Tees, reducers, couplers etc. all can be coated with the same coating.
They are Available in blue, red and yellow colors.
Dual layer coated steel pipes are used in the following applications where the pipes are installed above ground:
