DUAL LAYER EXTERNAL COATING
FutureReady Technology Superior constructs dual layer fusion bonded epoxy coverind on steel pipes for above ground applications in diameter which range from 25 mm to 2000 mm. This coating supply superior corrosion resistance, resistance to cathodic disbondment and resistance to abrasion and physical damage.
Dual Layer fusion bonded epoxy coatings are the most thickening layers of epoxy resin which is applied on steel pipes using an electrostatic process, which secures them against corrosion.
Dual layer FBE coated pipe consists of two coating layers they are as follows:
Layer 1: Corrosion protective layer is known as the layer1. This layer is manufactured of fusion bonded epoxy which offers very good corrosion protection. The fusion bonded epoxy has a splendid bonding with the blasted steel surface.
Layer 2: Layer2 is made of a coat of fusion bonded epoxy (abrasion resistant). The base coat of FBE is protected through this layer from abrasion and physical damage.
Dual Layer fusion bonded epoxy coated pipes are manufactured according the following standards:

Long term corrosion & weathering protection:
The Base coat of fusion bonded epoxy has superior grip to steel & avail corrosion protection to steel pipelines for long term operating over a immense range of temperatures.
It avails superior resistance to cathodic disbondment.
The Top coat of strong abrasion resistant of FBE avails protection from physical damage to the base coat because of handling, transportation and installation.
Under various installation conditions coating has been designed for good chemical resistance.
High Bond Strength :
The coating is bonded solidly to the mild steel pipe surface and the mean holding strength is 125 kg/cm² (ASTM D 4541).
Long Working Life :
Pipe has the characteristics of determined performance throughout the life span. The life of Service is more than 75 years.
Customized Solutions :
The Dual Layer ARO coating can be used from diameters 25 mm to 3000 mm with lengths of up to 12m.
We can apply the same coating on Bends (Elbows), Tees, reducers, couplers etc.
High Impact Resistance & Flexibility:
The Dual layer ARO covering has superior result resistance to guard against damages in the course of handling in transportation or use.
The Toughness of the ARO covering guarantee the coating withstands the vibrations form overhead traffic.
